#LivingGrand for the Holidays with @GrandHyatt
Tuesday, December 30, 2014
Hello My Loves,
I hope you are having a fantastic time preparing for the New Year and savouring the indulgence of family time and traditional food. Just before the Christmas Holiday, I received an invitation to attend an exquisitely beautiful dinner with Grand Hyatt New York. In the spirit of the holidays, Grand Hyatt embarked on hosting a series of events across three continents inspired by local and seasonal celebrations, in New York, Berlin and Melbourne. I was so honored to be in attendance for their final event in New York along with 20 other local bloggers and tastemakers.
When we arrived we were greeted by a stunning champagne tower, festive macaron decorating station, as well as a gorgeous grand piano and pianist serenading the guests. Everything was so decadent and luxurious and I felt completely whisked away!! When we were seated at our custom place settings, I was in awe of the menu of signature dishes prepared by Chef Matthew Garelick. Each plate was accompanied by a hand picked wine throughout the four course meal. As if that wasn't enough, two prima ballerinas fluttered in from behind the plethora of sweet deserts and performed a private dance for us to cap the dinner.
The evening was truly breathtaking and I feel so incredibly blessed to have been invited to join in the festivities. I'm left feeling a great sense of anticipation and excitement for the next Living Grand extravaganza. Take a peek below of all the special details and run with the inspiration galore.
Much love,
Meag xx
